More than just a bed

Christine* has a disability. Concerns for her health and COVID-19 risks meant that her social workers scrambled to find her an apartment, and when they did, it was empty. They only asked for a bed, but with 24 hours before her move, HWF managed to prepare a whole apartment with everything she’d need. They picked it up and were over the moon, knowing Christine would have a real home to move to.
